Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcome baby number four
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have welcomed their fourth child via surrogate, a baby boy named Wren Alexander Stephens. The 37-year-old model announced the news on Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a photo of herself holding the newborn.
“We are so excited to finally meet our son,” Teigen wrote in the caption. “He is such a blessing and we couldn’t be happier.”
The couple’s surrogate, who has not been identified, also shared a photo of the newborn on social media, writing, “Welcome to the world, Wren Alexander Stephens! We are so grateful for this beautiful gift.”
Teigen and Legend are already parents to three children: daughter Luna, 7, son Miles, 4, and daughter Esti, who was born via surrogate in January. The couple announced in July 2020 that they were expecting their fourth child, but Teigen suffered a miscarriage at 20 weeks.
In her Instagram post, Teigen thanked her surrogate for “this incredible gift” and said that she and Legend are “so happy to tell the world he is here.” She also shared a special message for their late son Jack, writing, “And to our Jack, we know both their angel kisses are from you.”
The couple’s announcement has been met with an outpouring of support from fans and friends. “Congratulations to you and your family,” wrote singer Katy Perry. “So much love.”
“Welcome to the world, Wren!” added model Ashley Graham. “So happy for you all.”
We wish the Teigen-Legend family all the best with their new addition.
