Lana Del Rey triumphs with first full show since Glastonbury set cut short

KISS | July 4, 2023

Lana Del Rey returned to the stage in triumphant fashion on Saturday night, performing a full set at the La Prima Estate Festival in Lido di Camaiore, Italy. The show was Del Rey’s first full performance since her headline set at Glastonbury was cut short in June after she arrived on stage 30 minutes late.

Del Rey made up for lost time at La Prima Estate, performing a 75-minute set that included a mix of her classic hits and newer material. She also took the opportunity to address the Glastonbury incident, telling the crowd that she was “so sorry” for the inconvenience.

“I know you were all waiting for me,” she said. “I was waiting for me too. I’m so sorry that I was late. I know that’s not an excuse, but my hair takes so long.”

The crowd laughed off Del Rey’s apology and proceeded to sing along to her every word. Del Rey herself seemed to be in good spirits, smiling and dancing throughout the set.

By the end of the night, it was clear that Del Rey had put the Glastonbury incident behind her. She had delivered a powerful and memorable performance that left her fans feeling satisfied and happy.

“That was amazing,” said one fan after the show. “Lana is a true artist and she gave us everything she had tonight.”

Another fan added, “I’m so glad she was able to come back and give us this show. She really made up for Glastonbury.”

Del Rey’s performance at La Prima Estate was a clear sign that she is still one of the most popular and talented artists in the world. She is a true performer who knows how to connect with her audience. With more shows on the horizon, it is clear that Del Rey is not going anywhere anytime soon.
