Remember Bridget Jones? The queen of hilarious diary entries, bad boyfriends, and questionable wine choices? Well, buckle up because Bridget’s back for a whole new adventure (and hopefully, some sensible footwear this time)!
Photos have surfaced online showing Renée Zellweger filming the fourth Bridget Jones movie in London. Zellweger looks fab as ever, rocking a chic green dress (a major upgrade from those questionable bunny ears, am I right?).
Here’s the juicy part: the plot details are still under wraps. But rumors are swirling that the movie will be based on Helen Fielding’s 2013 novel, “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.” In the book, Bridget’s a single mom of two, navigating the wild world of dating apps in her 50s. Oh, and there might be a certain charming younger fella in the mix too…
We already know Hugh Grant is reprising his role as the ever-so-slightly-smug Daniel Cleaver. But the big question is: what about Mark Darcy? collective gasp Sadly, it seems Colin Firth won’t be back this time around (spoiler alert: his character passes away in the previous movie).
So, will Bridget find love with the dashing Daniel (again?) or will this younger mystery man sweep her off her feet (and maybe help her with the school bake sale)? We’ll have to wait and see!
